May 17-18: Two Days Highlighting Music, Media and Style at Palmer Events Center
The 2008 Spring Music & Media show, opening May 17 at the Austin's Palmer Events Center, will showcase Texas music labels and artists, including live bands each day. The two-day show also will feature an extensive dealer area, complemented by area artisans and creative businesses.
Admission for the public is $3, which allows attendees to browse among dozens and dozens of tables within the exhibition hall. Music fans and collectors, industry folks, musicians, artists and dealers from around the United States and the world will gather in Austin to reinvent the conventional record show.
The Music & Media show aims to take advantage of Austin's status as "the live music capital." The event also will support local charity partners committed to animal rescue. After all, music and humans' best friends both make life richer.
Rhythmhound is pleased, also, to be partnering with The Austin Chronicle and KGSR 107.1 in making the 2008 Music & Media Show a success.
